Brand Identity System, Brand Narrative, and Brand Guidelines

Hen House came to us for brand strategy, identity system, brand narrative and other details, and we knew from the start it would have to walk the thin line between those contradictions.

Hen House’s brand positioning and design needed to strike a balance and strike a very specific tone that resonates in today’s culture. It’s a tone that is female forward but doesn’t take itself too seriously, it has an edginess, but it’s in the name of fun and with just a hint of an empowerment theme.

Our straight forward, but elegant logo design created a good juxtaposition against foundational language and served to help elevate other messaging that was more light-hearted.

Through our strategy consultation workshops we collaborated with the Empress team and created a comprehensive set of guidelines, a restaurant interior design look book, brand narrative, tag-lines, merchandise, digital design assets and photographic style
